Like many conferences, education is a key proponent.  And, to highlight the educational opportunities available at this year’s conference we’ll be running a series of blog posts highlighting different sessions and workshops.

Today, we’ll focus on educational opportunities related to accounting in LiveRez, which is driven through LiveRez’s integration with QuickBooks. The opportunities listed below are focused primarily on accountants and bookkeepers attending this year’s conference.

Educational Session: The QuickBooks Connector Crash Course – A Simple Guide to Making QuickBooks Work for You

Presenters: Rich Cook and Stephanie Rodriguez

LiveRez QuickBooks experts Rich Cook and Stephanie Rodriguez will provide a comprehensive overview of the LiveRez QuickBooks Connector. The presentation will cover an overview on initial set up, best practices for using the QuickBooks Connector on a daily basis, troubleshooting common issues and more. If you struggle at all with your accounting, this session is a can’t-miss event. Don’t forget to bring your accountant.

Educational Session: Easy Owner Statements – See Why That’s Not an Oxymoron at LiveRez

Presenters: Tyler Hurst and Tina Upson

Find out how to simplify your monthly routine of creating and publishing owner statements. Learn how to quickly and easily create your owner statements. We’ll cover the basics of creating an owner statement, adding recurring and one-time charges, including work order expenses, publishing statements and notifying your owners. We’ll also go into more advanced material like mark-ups, rental rate deduction, owner reserves and more. This is a great starter course for bookkeepers who plan on attending our QuickBooks training session on Day 2.


In addition to the educational sessions focused on owner statements and accounting, LiveRez is also hosting workshops from Wednesday, Sept. 10 through Friday, Sept. 12. These workshops will provide partners with personalized training on the topics that matter most to them.
